Seven people were taken to the hospital following a crash Thursday evening near Payette. Idaho State Police says the driver of a Nissan was heading west and attempting to make a left turn into a rest area along Highway 52 when it hit an eastbound Ford Ranger truck. The Ford went onto the right shoulder, over corrected, and went into the westbound lanes and hit a third vehicle.
