Soda Springs, Idaho — A total of 55 separate earthquakes have struck southeast Idaho so far since the first shakes started just before 6 p.m. Saturday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The first quake was a 4.3-magnitude that hit at about 5:55 p.m., followed by a 5.3-magnitude shake about a minute later. The earthquakes struck in an area about 10 miles east of Soda Springs.
